We are pleased to announce that aside from their usual duties as a wedding venue and a private home, Tredilion Park and Cwrt Yr Ala are now available to hire as filming and photography locations.
Tredilion Park, Abergavenny, South Wales
Tredilion Park is an 80 acre estate located in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons a stone’s throw away from the medieval town of Abergavenny.
The Estate offers a number of open spaces ideal for filming and photography. The grounds offer both manicured gardens, pastures, lakes and a kitchen garden.
Inside the Manor house has equally as many interesting areas. From warm oak paneled halls with stunning open fires and a sweeping staircase, through to a formal Edwardian drawing room, a stylish Art Deco bar, an Oak paneled library boardroom and a spacious Oak Room with a panoramic leaded window looking out over the mountains - the space is impressive.
Finally, the gallery balcony upstairs leads into the manor’s bedrooms which are currently under refurbishment.
In addition to the Manor house, there are a number of original outbuildings including stables, greenhouses and a gatehouse.
Cwrt Yr Ala Estate, Michaelston Le Pit, Cardiff
Cwrt Yr Ala is a 40 acre estate located in the heart of the South Wales countryside some 4 miles to the South West of Cardiff.
The Estate offers a landscape rich in opportunity for filming and photography. The grounds offer both manicured gardens, pastures, lakes, and a walled orchard.
The family house has a classic Georgian exterior with a simple facade and tall windows. Inside is sumptuously decorated featuring marble and stone fireplaces, polished wooden floors, antique chandeliers and opulent furnishings. There are plenty of rooms to chose from all with good natural light and a great deal of space.
In the grounds, there are a number of converted barns and a lake house (which are rented), an outdoor pool and pool house, and a collection of hot tubs, bbq areas and an open chimney fireplace.
